TRAVEL

Air:

- We recommend flying into Portland International Jetport (PWM - not Oregon!). It is an easy trip with direct flights from all NYC airports. PWM is only 15 minutes from both downtown Portland and the wedding venue.

- Boston Logan Airport is also an option, with hourly buses from the airport directly to Portland (Concord Coach Lines). The journey will take approximately 2 hours to bring you up to Portland.

If you fly and are staying in the Portland area you shouldn't need a rental car for access to any of the events - shuttles will be provided and Ubers are also available,

Drive:

For those coming from the New York area, driving is an option, though the duration can depend heavily on traffic (4.5 hours to 7 hours from Manhattan depending on timing). All the hotels listed have parking.

HOTELS

We recommend staying in the historic restaurant, bar, and waterfront area of Portland, known as the "Old Port". This area boasts streets full of shopping, eating, and drinking, along with a waterfront lined with beautiful views and plenty of seafood.

Hotel Blocks

We have reserved blocks at two hotels: Aloft and Hyatt. Both hotels are in the Old Port area and are walkable to the welcome party (Camp Pennant) and after party locations.

We recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure block availability. Note: you must book a minimum of Friday Sept 19 - Sunday Sept 21st to receive the block rate (single nights excluded). Please reach out if you'd like to stay beyond the two nights or if the blocks are full.

We will offer bus transport to and from the wedding venue (approximately a 15 minute drive). Details will be sent closer to the wedding.

Additional Options

In addition to the specific hotel blocks listed below, there are numerous other hotels in the Portland area. Everything is about a 15-20 minute drive away (examples: Canopy by Hilton, DoubleTree Hilton Portland Maine Airport, Fairfield Inn and Suites Portland Maine Airport, and others). Please note, wedding shuttles will depart from the Old Port Area only.
